In Pennsylvania, an emissions inspection is required in certain regions to meet air quality improvement goals. Vehicles registered in Westmoreland County and other counties in the Pittsburgh Area are required to undergo an emissions inspection once a year, before or at the same time as the PA safety inspection.
Your registration renewal notice will inform you when it's time for your state inspection and emissions inspection. You must go to a certified emissions inspection station for your test.
Kitch Automotive is an authorized emissions inspection station (#3B186) serving Greensburg, PA, Latrobe, PA, Hempfield Township, PA, and surrounding areas.
There are several types of emissions tests
If your vehicle fails the emissions test, we'll guide you through your next steps. We perform emissions system repairs, so you have repairs and a re-inspection performed at one location.
